CLEAN AIR,
COMFORTABLE FUTURE.
Filter technology born in the forests.
We provide
pleasant and comfortable environments for cities and
architecture.
mission
With its history spanning some 150 years, the Oji Group has cultivated challenging manufacturing based on insight gained from paper making and forest development.
Filter technologies based on wood resources are one such example.
Our mission is to conserve energy and improve air quality.
To shape a livable future, we will harness nature's gifts to provide innovative products.
Simultaneously achieving ventilation and energy conservation ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR CORE
An Energy Recovery Ventilator CORE is the heart of
ventilation equipment.
It collects and reuses indoor
coolness and heat to enhance air conditioning efficiency.
ENERGY
RECOVERY VENTILATOR CORES have attracted attention as a
technology demonstrating ventilation performance and energy
conservation simultaneously.
Key features oji quality
Exclusively developed specialty paper
Striking a
balance between high Energy Recovery exchange efficiency
and gas barrier properties
This specially developed paper combines high Energy
Recovery exchange efficiency with gas barrier
properties.
Using the thin specialty paper with
high moisture permeability developed from Japan's
proud tradition of advanced papermaking technology, it
is possible to efficiently reuse the thermal energy of
discharged air.
Thin paper processing technology
High-precision
corrugated honeycomb structure
Assembling thin paper with a high heat exchange
efficiency into a corrugated honeycomb shape is an Oji
Group technology.
The high precision of a
three-dimensional structure created by layering
"divider plates" and "spacing plates" leads to reduced
energy costs for air conditioning and conserves
energy.
Reassuring track record of adoption
From leading
domestic manufacturers to overseas
ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR COREs demonstrate
performance in highly airtight spaces such as homes,
buildings, schools and hospitals.
The business
was launched in 1990.
In recent years, we have
produced more than 250,000 units annually and expanded
our sales channels in Japan and abroad.
The Mechanism of Energy Recovery Ventilator
Energy Recovery exchange performs the intake of air indoors
and the discharge of air outdoors in an intersecting
manner.
This makes it possible to replenish the indoor
environment with fresh air while maintaining room
temperature and humidity.

Speedily eliminating worrying odors DEODORIZING FILTERS
Special paper developed by the Oji Group is processed into a
corrugated honeycomb structure and infused with a
proprietary chemical solution that boasts strong deodorizing
effects.
A deodorizing filter can solve a wide range of
odor issues at low cost and with high performance.
Key features oji quality
Proprietary specialty paper that maximizes deodorizing
performance
Pressure loss is reduced due to high
shape stability and minimal fluffing
Proprietary "glass paper" developed by the Oji Group
is used for deodorizing filter.
This paper is
rich in glass fibers and features high water
absorbency, workability and shape stability.
Tailored to customer needs
Able to handle a wide
range of odors
Glass paper is processed into a corrugated honeycomb
structure with low pressure loss.
At a dedicated
state-of-the-art plant in Jiangsu Province, China,
integrated production and mass production is carried
out, from molding into corrugated honeycomb base
materials to processes to impregnate the chemical
solutions.
Performance characteristics can be
customized.
Sales channels are expanding in Japan and overseas
Annual
production of two million pcs worldwide
Since production started in 2011, more than 15 million
pcs have been supplied to the market.
In recent
years, production has stepped up to more than two
million pcs annually, with sales channels expanding in
Japan and abroad.
The filters are expected to be
used for various applications including air purifiers,
air conditioners, deodorizers, smoke separators,
sewage and drainage systems, building equipment and
restrooms.

Research and
Development
With the use of paper processing, the testing, measurement,
design and prototyping of the core components of air
conditioning equipment and filters for air purifiers and other
devices is underway at our research and development sites.
Specifically,
we are engaged in the design and development of production
equipment.
We develop new products and evaluate
performance based on customer needs.
We develop and
verify elements that use new materials.
We establish
chemical preparations and new formulas.
In conjunction
with these activities, we aim to improve the efficiency of
quality control and safety management.
